About Me

I am Jasmine: twenty-one year old Taurus and traveling, writing, and photographing enthusiast. I am studying European Studies with an emphasis in France and business at Brigham Young University. I am a French and American citizen with a deep affinity towards my European background. I've spent most of my life in the USA, hopping between five different states. My family was constantly on the move: visiting, vacationing, exploring, relocating. For me, traveling is both natural and essential, whether it is a motorcycle trip to a new local site or a month long excursion to a foreign country.

After I finish my degree at BYU, I plan to become certified in Interior Design. Learning is a life-long pursuit however, so I hope to take many more group, private or community courses in the culinary arts, Italian language, scuba diving, photography, or dancing.

I am an avid reader. I devoured the "Hunger Games" series. My long-time favorite book is "The Giver," although "Holes" is always a good read. I believe that long evening walks are a great way to meditate and that hot chocolate is one of the greatest inventions of the 17th century. I love the smell of pine trees and ocean breeze, masquerade balls, french cuisine, the thrill of new experiences, and spur-of-the-moment road trips.

And finally, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Though I list this last, it is far from inconsequential. My religion has had the most lasting effect on my life, offering me hope during my most distressing times.  I love the gospel and the peace and love it brings into my life.
